Ayuo & Genome perform Five Years by David Bowie

これはAyuoの歌うDavid BowieのFive Years.こないだのライヴ(10月6日）からです。映像作家のCharlie kawamura （河村 雅範さん）が取って頂いたものです。このライヴではDavid BowieのアルバムZiggy Stardustを1曲目から最後の曲まで演奏しました。その後に、立岩さんのイランのリズムの説明が入り、イランの曲をロックにした曲を演奏しました。そして、アンコールにはプリンスの『パープル・レイン』の1曲目のLet’s Go Crazy。
そして今月はプリンスのトリビュート・ライブを公園通りクラシックスで11月24日にやります. 是非ご期待ください！

ミチオ・カクはレクチャーでよく語っている事ー　石油や他の資源が電力のために必要がなくなる世界に今向かっている。

物理学者ミチオ・カクは語る、2019年に南フランスで初めての大きな核融合炉のスイッチがつけられる。EU, アメリカ、日本、韓国、ロシアがこの実験のためにお金を出し合って、この実験が行う。この実験が成功すれば、2030年には海の塩水を使って電力を作る核融合炉が使われるようになるだろう、と彼は語っている。日系米国人の物理学者、ミチオ・カクはレクチャーでよく語っている事だが、石油や他の資源が電力のために必要がなくなる世界に今向かっている。そして後に電力が無料になると、今の政治システムも経済のシステムも大きな変化を迎えなければいけなくなるか、崩壊することになる。20世紀のほとんどの戦争の影は資源の取り合いだった。しかし、今のコンピューター・テクノロジー、AI、遺伝子科学、バイオテクノロジーで行っている事を合わせてみると、お金というものが必要ではなくなる社会になるかもしれない、と彼は語る。そして、それが生き方も文化に大きな変化を迎える事になるだろう。ユートピアにはならないと思うが、面白い未来が待っているかもしれない。それに何人が気が付いているだろうか？音楽家のビョークは気が付いていると思う。そのために、科学のプロジェクトの個展を世界中でやっている。私たちのグループの名前がジェノーム(Genome)と名付けているのは、そこでの新しい実験に未来を感じているからだ。来年の私たちのプロジェクトで、それをよりはっきりと皆さまに伝えるショーを作ろうと考えている。
実は来月のプリンスのトリビュートでも、それを感じさせる部分を含んでいる。けっして、懐古趣味的な目的でデヴィッド・ボウイや、来月のプリンスのトリビュートをやっているわけではない。未来につながるブリッジがそこに見えているからだ。
ミチオ・カクのトークには説得力がある。この映像でダーク・エナージーについてもふれているが、これについても面白い話がたくさんある。11月1日に日本に来日して、レクチャーとシンポジウムをやる予定だ。見に行く。楽しみだ。

I am a ripple on flowing water by Ayuo

i was a knot in a vast network
i am a cultural pattern
i influence others
and others have influenced me

i am a ripple on flowing water
i have merged into others
we rise and splash in waves
the ripples are individuals
each with their own name
and we all are parts of interwoven patterns
forming the whole
thoughts that passed through you
have existed before as patterns
moving in space and time
a ripple is as a single being

i am a part of this interwoven pattersn of thoughts
and so are you
creating experiences together

i am not bound to a single being
we know that trees and blood cells
similar to those those thast have passed
will come again
when one turns back into life by life
when one tries to
unravel the complex knots of minds

We change
We transform
Become the sea
Become You

There are no words that allow me to express
the subtlety of how we have merged with one other
The sea is one metaphor
The river is another

i will circulate in the biosphere
i will become clouds and oceans
i will become many different creatures

i have merged into others
more subtly than words will allow us to express

we exist in seas of minds
creating experiences
that ties us together
in the oceans of the universe
tieing us together

So you want to be a philosopher by Ayuo

So you want to be a philosopher
You want to prove that your theories are absolute
So you try to eliminate everything that may prove you wrong
But that will also eliminate you.

The opposite of you by Ayuo

The opposite of you
Exists within you
You always see it on the outside
In projections of shadows attacking you.
As the shadows attacking you.

When you fall in love
it’s with an image existing inside of you.
And you project them outside you

What you love exists within you
And you project them outside you
As images of loved ones and idols

You see the world
As you expect to see it

You became conscioius of it
When you became six
And it grew to be come you

The charactors in your nightmares and dreams

People are never what you think they are
For you cannot see outside yourself
You only feel the common denominator

Metaphors of things in reality
And you say to me

Life isn’t one man’s dream
We see with different eyes
We see from different view points
Nothing is the same

So we speak in metaphors
No direct answer to questions profound
No dogmas
Nothing remains the same
Not even same words.

life is about learning
life is about knowing
life is movement

life self-organiizes itself
To the energy flowing through itself

i want to be loved

to be protected
to be fed
like when you were an infant

sex began with cannibalism

i eat you
you become a part of me
and you are mine

sex is possession
sex is aggression

sex is not reproduction
sex is not love

i want to eat you tonight
he says
but she sucks away his lifeblood
and he is drained of whatever power he once had

You cannot hypnotize someone forever
One day the bind breaks
And he will never again accept your will

Your politics falls apart
Your religion crumbles
And your thoughts
Become pieces of paper
Burned in the winds of time

There are morals
There are standrards
And we only follow them
So society is not upset

Even the wildest of fantasies
Follow a formula
You may not notice them at first

With so many cultures
You’d expect more variety

We see patterns of a tale
And the tale is repeated again and again
And when we become
The out side people
We are the observers with a microscope

A part of me, you are
extended from what i was

The universe gave us life
We are always a part of this
The universe gave us life
We are born
We give life
And we pass it on
From a leaf, a new leaf is born
And the older fades away
While protecting the newly born

A part of me, you are
Extended from what i was

Thoughts may change
Words may change
But you are always
A part of
The constantly evolving universe

We are surrounded by thoughts
From those who existed beforre us
From those who seemed insignificsnt
While we live, we are often decieved by the superficial
And the charismatic.

There are those who have knowledge and show it
There are those who don’t have knowledge but pretend
There are those who have knowledge but don’t show it
There are those who understand the words of one who has knowledge
And those who follow what seems to be brightly lit.

Words are symbols by Ayuo

Words are symbols
They come from gestures
There are no magical sounds
Unless you add meaning to them

You want to hear stories
There are people you want to be
Adventures that opens your horizon
Places you’ve never been
And places that don’t exist

People to act out your fantasies
That are too far away to be real

But stories have their own patterns
And people repeat the same stories
Over and over in different settings
Meanings in words may differ in different cultures
But I began to wonder
Maybe for us humans
There are only a few set of story patterns
And we simply continue to put them in different settings
Over and over again.

Then you realize
There are no places that don’t exist
There are no people you don’t know
Because you see them from the limits of your mind
People are storytellers
And in their heads are the patterns of stories
With which they see the world
